- Episode 5*
Edward: good day sir.
(He greeted on seeing the fierce looking man.)
Mr.titus: (angrily)and who are you?
Rose: (cuts in) dad this is Edward my boy friend.
– Her dad was very surprise on that statement he shouted immediately
– mr.titus: BOY WHAT?!!!, i thought Dandy is your boy friend already.
Rose: no way, he is just a friend.
(then she turned to Edward who was in high tension and said) don’t mind my dad.
He is always like that.
Just take a seat let me bring something for you.
– Then she left the room leaving Edward together with her dad alone.
As soon as he tried to seat down, Mr. Titus said immediately.
– Mr
. Titus : i haven’t given you the order to sit down yet. You have to answer some questions before you can get to seat down.
– Edward: okay sir.
– Then he (mr. Titus) took a glance at him (edward) from hair to toe. And then asked
– Mr. Titus: what’s your occupation?
Edward: i am a trader for the main time.
Mr.titus: trading on what?
Edward: shoes and bag.
Mr. Titus:are you a graduate?
Edward: no i am looking for admission.
– Mr. Titus mode changed automatically it seemed as if his is getting tens up
. He turned red with anger and more so what he was going to say won’t be a favourable one. By the way, he warned him seriously.
– Mr. Titus: look boy people of low class like you don’t mingle with my family.
So let ,me make this warning clear to you. Let this be the last time i will ever see you with my daughter.
Also never you on earth set foot in my compound again.
You may leave now.
– Edward was surprise at the man’s harshness, he tried to hesit
ate and wait for Rose but the man raised his voice more, so he had no other option than to get away fast to the extent that he almost Jamed a pillar while in the haste to move out.
Soon enough, Rose returned with a glass of drink for Edward and to her surprise, she met his absent.
Now rose’s mode changed she turned serious and asked her dad.
– Rose: where is he?
Rose: where is he?
Mr. Titus: i think, he left.
Rose: but why?
Mr. Titus: may be, he didn’t like here. Or he might be a coward She was very disappointed not knowing if to be angry at him or not. She quickly ran back to her room, picked up her phone and began to call him. He had not even picked the call when she began to lay abuses on him.
– Rose: how dear you be a coward? I am very disappointed in you Edward. Why did you have to disgrace me in the present of my dad?.
. – Then she took a break to hear his reason.
– Edward: am not a coward and can never be a coward!
Rose: if you are not, why then did you have to go.
Edward: i realized that i did a very big mistake by coming to your house.
Rose: and what did that suppose to mean?
Edward: you do not tell me earlier that your father don’t like people like me.
Rose: i don’t get it. Move to the point.
Edward: he insulted me. He ordered i should leave immediately and never return again. And more so, he warned i should stay away from you. Rose:(surprised) wait a minute,you mean -he said all those things?
Edward: you should had seen how angry helooked.
Rose: so are you staying away from me now?
Edward: of course not. I will only stay away from your house until I’m ready.
Rose: okay if he don’t want you to visit me, then i will be the one to visit you. I am coming over to your house, hope you will be around
Edward: yes sure!
– After the call, she looked very furious with her dad. She felt like going up to him and shout at him.
But she dear not.
Soon her phone began to ring and it was Dandy calling – dandy: hello Rose how are you.
– He greeted as soon as she picked the call.
– Rose: fine and you…?
Dandy : not fine. I tried visiting you yesterday but it seems you didn’t have any time for me.
Rose: its not that i don’t have time for you. I just need to fix some certain things dandy: and what is that?
Rose: no question.
Dandy: i am coming to pick you up. We are going out today.

– Episode 6*
still on what dandy has just said, she exclaimed
– Rose: no way! i am not available. Dandy: but why?
Rose: (shouting) i said no more question!!! Dandy; alright i insist. I am already at the sitting room with your dad so startdressing.
– She then drop the call looking very surprise running down stairs to the sitting room to know if he is joking or not. But to more of her surprise, it wasn’t a joke
. He is there already sitting right opposite to her dad.
– Mr. Titus: come on rose, dress up. He took permission that he wants to take you out.
– With out a waste of time, she went back to her room looking passionately upset and confused at the same time because he had already told Edward that she is coming.
At last she took her phone and texted Edward that she won’t make it,she did not have any better reason to give that is why she just texted instead of calling.
Then she dressed up and went out side to dandy’s car as dandy joined her.

back at Edwards house, he had already informed his beloved mother that an important friend is coming to visit them the very day.
They cleaned the whole house and compound and with the help of his mother, they prepared a very delicious meal for her her.
But abruptly he was more than disappointed when he got her text message that she won’t make it that day.
He was instantly filled with anger but it all disappeared when he heard a car zooming into the compound.
Then he thought that Rose was just kidding him.
He was very, very happy that at least she made it thinking it was her , he rushed out of the house to meet a pleasant surprise.
He saw Thomas walking toward the door instead of rose who he was expecting. He could not hide his joy immediately he saw him, he exclaimed.
Edward: Thomas! Is this you ! Thomas: yes oooo! Long time , no see – then he got down from the car and immediately, they gave themselves a warm hug.
Still in the hug, he asked
– Thomas: so how are you Edy?
– Then they let go of each other.
– Edward: fine
. Just look at you, i have no reason to ask ‘how are you’ because you are doing just great with undoubtedly. So come in, you are highly welcomed.
. So they went inside as Helen welcome him too. He was indeed welcomed properly with all the preparation made for rose. Now Edward could see the reason why they say ”every disappointment is blessing” . After every thing, Thomas picked a discussion with Edward.
– Thomas: Edy i came here because of two reasons only.
Edward: what reason is that? Tell me because i am all ears
Thomas: okay but promise to be all mouth when i finish ooo! (he joked)
Edward: hahaha! You are funny go on.
Thomas: i just came to see how you are. And another because of the show i have next month in a city not far from here. So i want us to go together and be the EXPLOITS we always use to be. I have a dream of singing but not alone but with a talented person like you.
Edward: okay but i can’t go looking like this
Thomas: don’t worry about the expenses, i will see to that. And perhaps, our money here is N1,000,000 Edward: what!!! I am in.
Thomas: i will be here on Monday so we can travel together for practise so prepare.
– Then he gave him a departing hug and left. And next Edward called rose and requested that she should meet him up at cool restaurant. And She did agreed not knowing that Dandy was listening to their phone conversation. He decide to be there as well that evening.

– Episode 7*
rose got to the venue to meet Edward but instead, she was surprise to see Dandy waiting for her.
– Dandy: hello Rose. Rose: what are you doing here?
Dandy: take it easy, i just came to see you
Rose: see me for what? Don’t you know my house?
Dandy: i just want to see you here. Aren’t you happy to see me?
– As she did tried to answer him, Edward arrived and said to her
– Edward: hello Rose, i am sorry i kept you waiting
. Rose: its fine . I just got here right now.
– Then she gave him a hug. Dandy was green with jealousy seeing them both in a hug together. he decided to interrupt them
– Dandy: em, em, Rose, i have some thing for you to show you that our love have a future.
Edward: :/surprised) ehm, what is this guy talking about rose?
Rose: i don’t know! Dandy: oh Rose come on tell him the truth and stop fooling your self. Rose: (angrily) will you stop already! – Then dandy stood up with the flower on his hand and walk over to her saying:
-: Dandy: i just wana give this to you . hope you like it. – he hands it over to her. Edward was so irritated with what he was seeing. So to cut his romantic confession , he barked at Rose
– Edward: rose we are running out of time. Lets talk over there.
– He said pointing to a couple of empty seats at his left hand side.
– Rose: okay.
– Then she tried to move ahead with Edward then dandy cut in
– dandy: rose can’t you tell this guy that we are lovers already so he will stop fooling around with you.
Rose :(shouting ) no way! We are not and can never be lover for Christ sake.
– Then she followed Edward
. As soon as they sat down Edward said looking upset
– Edward: you did not tell me that you have a date with some one else. I shouldn’t had bothered to come.
Rose: i did not have a date with him honestly, i don’t know what he is doing here.
Edward: you think it is easy for me to believe you?. Look he bought you flowers which is still on your arm and prophesying that your relationship with him has a future. Rose: (pleading) please believe me.
Edward: i just want to tell you that i will be travelling next week for a music show
– Then he stood up angrily to go. She noticed that he was very upset, so she held him back begging him.
– Rose: please believe me, i did not plan any of these.
Edward: i said i believe you. I have to go now because it is running late. Then he left. Rose could not hold her anger, she went over to dandy who was enjoying the show and gave him an ugly slap. She threw the flower he gave her at him and then said angrily.
– Rose: you bastard! You are the reason why the only man i love is angry with me. Starting from today, i don’t want to see you ever in my life again.
– Then she walked away from him, and entered her car and left. Main while Edward couldn’t sleep because of what he saw and heard earlier. He could not believe that his beloved girl friend could keep a boy who buys her flower after all the love she confesses to him.
. ”any way, that’s her own business, if she don’t love me again fine!” he managed to say encouraging him self. Early in the morning as he was dressing Togo to his shop, he heard the zooming of a car entering their compound. He thought it was Thomas so he quickly dressed up and began to rush out to welcome him but on getting out with speed, he managed to apply an automatic brake to his fast running legs immediately he saw it was rose.
– Edward: idid not know you are coming. He managed to say after staring confusedly at her.
Rose: i am sorry i did not inform you. But thank God i met you just on time. I know you must be dressing for work.
Edward: okay, what exactly brought you here so early this morning?
Rose: Edy, are you still mad at me because of last night. I am honest, i did not plan any of that, please believe me.
Edward: i thought i told you that i believe you, yesterday.
Rose: i know you must be very mad at me. I accept it that I’m the cause. I allowed him into my life because i needed his help back in school. Please forgive me. –

- Episode 8*

Please forgive me. She pleaded in tears.
Tears also forced themselves out of Edward’s eyes but he was quick to clean them up immediately.
Edward: i am ashamed for being angry at you. Forgive me for being .
Rose: we are good now
. Right?
– She finally asked with smile as Edward walked to her and huged her.
– Edward: yes!!! Honestly, i can’t live with out you.
– Soon, she left and after a few minutes, another car entered the compound. He came out and realize that it was dandy.
Edward: (angrily) what are you doing here?
Dandy: with smiles) is it obvious,? are you surprised? (then turned serious) listen man, my mission here is simple. Just stay away from Rose. she is mine. Not yours. Understood!!!
Edward: (laughing) hahaaa!!!, i was even planning to give you exactly this warning. You know she never love you, so stay away from her for good!
Dandy:(angrily)how dear you speak to me like that? Don’t you know your class?
Edward: oh yea! I know my class. I shouldn’t be wasting my time speaking to a no-class man like you.
-It was now obvious that dandy was filled with anger he shouted out of anger.
– Dandy: repeat that again!!!
Edward: oh ,may be you are just deaf
. I said you are no-class man.
– Dandy rushed over to him and threw him a blow but he blocked it with his right hand and said.
– Edward: i won’t have you do this in my own house!
– Dandy repeated the blow again and Edward blocked it and said again.
– Edward: final warning. Try it again and i swear, you won’t like my color after noticing it.
– More so dandy ignored his warning and tried once more with another blow and Edward dourge it quickly and then gave him his own blow hard on the nose. Now dandy was very furious, he stepped back a little, folded his arm and ran toward Edward for a fight. Main while, Edward did not make any move, he just studied to know his weak point and how to attack him. When dandy was near enough to him with speed, Edward immediately gave him a very hard, and ugly kick under the middle of his waist .
. Then dandy groan loudly in pain as he gradually fell to the ground. The noise he made caught the attention of Helen who was busy at the back of the house. She immediately rushed out to know what exactly was going on. On reaching, she saw her son all over some one on the ground throwing him merciless pounced at the face like wise also giving him the earth to eat.
– Helen: will you stop that Edward! What’s wronge with you? Edward: mum, this idiot came here to fight me. How did you expect me to play a gentle man role over it?
– Then he let go of dandy whose face looked nearly like a masquerade. he managed to get up. His fore-face was swollen, his lips was bleeding and his mouth of filled with sand. He immediately began to vomit the sand out of his mouth and when was through, he went to his car and before he left he said to Edward.
– Dandy: listen to me man, this isn’t over. It is still far from over. I swear that you will regret ten times for this.
– Edward: my friend , you can’t do more than a dead rat! Edward screamed back at him before he entered his car

The next day around evening, Edward was coming back from work and he got to a lowly street walking alone with out any companion. Just then a group of boys surrounded him each with a fat stick as hard as a kitchen pistol
