- Episode 37*
she was almost near but then.
She Started feeling nervous backed up with anxiety.
she could not feel her self again.
So She began to panic as she drew nearer and nearer when suddenly, Anita’s eyes caught her then she turned back immediately making way to her car then drove home with tears.
*** EDWARD***
The next day was another day of their show.
They climbed the stage to entertain their guest as usual when he mistakenly saw a face he knew very well admidst of the crowd.
He knew that he knows the person but can’t really tell who she was.
He saw her as a flash and was eager to take more look at that face.
He searched the crowd essesively with his eyes moving from left to right.
Main while, at that moment he was busy entertaining the people with his song but the face he saw caused him to loose concentration which lead to a lot of mistake to his music buying the instrumentalists huge mistake as well.
At first, his music was interesting but after that incident, it became boring.
He latter excused himself to the toilet so he can think over what was happening.
As soon as he entered, he saw a girl leaving the toilet, she faced down so that her face won’t be seen.
Although he did not see her face but her features was very familiar.
He stood there for some minutes battling with thoughts of who the person might be.
At last he decided to go after her but it was too late.
He searched all around but their was no trace of her any where.
When he was tired, he went back to the toilet, thought for a moment then gave him self a very strong slap that helped him forget about the illusion in his mind.
Soon he was back at the stage again.
He sang very well this time that the people cheered him more. soon every thing about THE show was over.
They went back home happily and joyfully to see every one waiting anxiously for them.
Johnson was already at their house together with Thomas parents and then Charles who came by to say welcome.
There was a paper on the table of which each of them takes a glance after glance each minutes on it.
By the way, they welcomed them warmly at their arrival.
Grace who has already prepared a special dish for them served them to their test.
Just then Edward noticed the paper and asked.
– Edward: hey whats that paper doing there?
– Then he began to walk near to it .
Suddenly Armand took it off the table sharply.
– Armand: hey edy, u gotta rest, you are just coming back from a trip now.
Edward: okay okay fine .
He said and went back and collapse in the sofa.
Then started consuming his meal
. Anita: you Look very hungry.
She said after staring at him for some time.
Edward: the food is making me hungry.
– Then they all began to laugh.
After eating and resting, every one was at the point ready for business then Edward directed a question to Johnson.
– Edward: hope you have gotten the result of the test.
– he Then waited to receive his reply but there was none.
He asked again by the way.
.- Edward;: Sir. Johnson, hope the result of the DNA test is ready?
Sandra: (getting confuse,) what kind of DNA result are you talking about?
Edward: oh come on Sandra, you won’t understand.
Sandra: make us understand nah
Charles: what did DNA test got to do with you?
Armand: cool down every body, you all will know soon.
Anita: But we want to know it now dad.
Johnson: yes Edward it is out.
Edward: and if what you said is true, can i see it my self ?

Johnson: Armand is with the result.
Edward: yea, i know that that paper must contain an important information.
Then Armand brought out the result and Stretched it out for him to reach.
He took it from him and as soon as he tried to read it, the two girls (Anita and Sandra) gathered round him to read as well. he declined the idea trying to hide the paper from them so they began to drag the paper and atlength, it was draged roughly which caused it to tear into three parts.
Edward boiled with anger immediately.
His temper increases and his charming bright eyes turned red.
It was obviously clear that he at that moment was very angry so every one began to apologise unbehalf of the girls.
Anita quickly collected all the 3 pieces of papers and ran upthe stairs.
And with in few minutes, she re-appeared with the paper which was already taped by her.
– Anita: why are you hiding the fact that uncle Johnson is your biological father?
– She asked refering to Edward Immediately, the surprise look worn by both Sandra and Charles was clearly and obviously noticed as they exclaimed at the same time.
Charles / Sandra: WHAT!!! How could that be possible?
Anita: believe me, i am very surprise
. How did that happen?
– She asked Johnson.
– Johnson: i will explain soon but not now.
Anita: why not? We want it now!
– She shouted.
Then Johnson not having any other choice than to accept exhaled.
He told them exactly what he told Edward the other day.
Charles: so that necklace is that important?
Sandra: i am happy Edward now you have located your real father.
And you know by fact now that he is not dead as you have believed all your life.
– some how, Edward was happy Johnson was happy.
Every one in the house seem cheerful but apart from three.
Thomas, his sister and his dad.
They knows that soon Edward would be packing off their house to his father’s house and that they don’t like.
By the way, whether they liked it or not, the truth is that they have to accept the reality..

– Episode 39*
Edward left Armand house to live with Johnson.
There he met with Nikky his step sister who was very much delighted to see him.
All through her life, the only person that was always close to her was just her father only.
She heard that her mother died while giving birth to her and her father also has declined the idea of getting another wife for himself.
Edward was also happy to meet her and with all full joy they lived together happily.
Nikky celebrated her birth day party as had planned and Edward entertained the guest with a wonderful songs.
He did composed a sweet birth day song for his beloved sister and dropped the track on that very day.
Every one was present to witness the party both Sandra and Charles.
Nikky just finished her secondary school and came out in flying colors, she sat for JAMB together with Edward and they both made it and got admission into the university.
Nikky was studying Law while Edward was studying accounting.
Soon they got through and graduated from the university together.
Now, Edward was able to fulfil his dreams he thanked God very much for showing him all those blessings.
One more thing he did never forget his mother.
He pays her grave a visit at least once in a month to drop flower for her.
As a matter of fact, after his service, he did not have to look for job because job was already looking for him.
His father owns a company which was famous in the country.
He was made the managing director of the company by his father because he trusted him very much to be an honest, up right, out standing, diligent and hard working man.
More so apart from all these features he possessed he has right over the company as the first and only son.
One day, he was having cool time with Thomas his best friend when he received a call. from his secretory who informed him that he has a meeting to attend and they are already waiting for him

His company has been facing alot of challenges despite how many times he had tried to to loan .
He did not know how to manage the company’s affairs that’s why they keep running shortage and he keeps borrowing.
He had already collected a loan from different banks and was yet to pay.
Presently, he came to know of a company very famous and wealthy.
He thought of either buying shares from them or them buying shares from him. This was the start of his plan to dupe extort them.
He had already gone but was told to come back the following week so that the managing director will access his request and which he had came sitting with the staffs of the company waiting for the managing director to arrive. .
– Mr. Titus: what is keeping him so long? He asked after several minutes of waiting.
Glory: he will be here soon. YoU know he is a very busy man sir.
– Edwards assistant replied.
Not long he (Edward) appeared and every one rose up to greet him apart from Mr. Titus who was obviously drowning in the sea of surpriseness
– Mr. Titus: is this trash the managing director? (He asked directing the question to glory.)
Glory: yea he sir Edward. The managing director of this company. (She replied.)
– Edward at his own was also surprise to see him.
. He wondered what on earth will bring him there. By the way he pretended very well to be happy when deeply in his heart was very furious at him. He manage to give up a smile as he greeted.
Edward: hello Mr. Titus. Nice to meet you in my territory.
Then he gave out a laughter which inched Mr. Titus in the heart. .
Mr. Titus: what the hell are you doing here?
– He asked angrily – Edward: i should be the one to ask you that! Edward shouted back.
– All the staffs at that moment was very surprise at the both of them – glory: sir did you know him? (SHe directed to Edward.)
Edward: yea, i know him very well to be a mor…….
Mr. Titus: cutting in) enough!!! Lets go into the meeting.
Then every body sat down and got ready for the meeting… . .

Then every body sat down and got ready for the set of discussion.
Mr. Titus explained the reason why he is there.
He presented and organised his speeches nicely that the staffs on their own will be happy to grant his request but it was not a upto them to make, though they commented their minds out to the hearing of all.
But Edward wasnt interested in all he or any one else said.
After all said and done, its now his opportunity to declare if his request really be granted or neglected. He address them all .
Edward: look every one! In as much as i am concerned, this company will never on earth have any business to do with this man here.
– Every body was surprise.
They were like asking WHY? But they dear not
. By the way, he continued.
Edward: i should have even neglected this meeting if i had known earlier what it was all about. And as a matter of fact, this meeting is over!
– Then he stood up from his chair angrily and walked out of the room.
Leaving Mr. Titus with the staffs who keep mopeing at him like a sheep.
And obvious look of anger was worn on his face as he stood up as well and left.
At that time, he and Dandy had already became partners in business.
He trust him very well by making him his assistant not knowing what really he is capable of doing.
By the way, he got to his office and collapse heavily on the coach.
” how on earth was that boy able to get there? How the hell did that bastard get there?”
he began to ponder on the question with a sad look for several hours.
He was distracted by dandy who walked into the office.
– Dandy: sir ,you are already back. So was it successful? Hope there is no problem? Why is your face wearing such a frighten sad look?
– Mr
. Titus: i can’t really believe what my eyes saw!!!
He exclaimed.
– Dandy: what the hell did your eyes see that you can’t really believe? Did you see a ghost? He asked trying to tease him.
Mr: titus: did you think i am really cracking jokes with you?
Dandy: okay, i am sorry, what is it?
Mr. Titus: did you believe that that stupid Edward is the managing director of the company? Dandy: surprised) WHAT!!! said by who?
Mr. Titus: what kind of rubbish question is that?
Dandy: wait a minute sir, you mean that Edward we burnt his house or another type that looks like him? Or perhaps his ghost because i believed he has died by now.
Mr. Titus: getting more and more angry) will stop all that joke! I really know what i saw. Its him, i recognise him and he recognised me.
Dandy: sir, frankly, are you really serious because it is hard for me to believe that.
Mr. Titus: what the heck is wrong with you? Is your second name Thomas who doubted Jesus until he felt his wound?
Dandy: okay, let me believe with fear. But did he accept our proposal? Mr. Titus: how could he after all we did to him?
Dandy: getting angry) so what really do we have to do now?
Mr. Titus: i don’t really know. I am confused right now. He even wanted to introduce me as a murderer if not that i cut in into his speech.
Dandy: the war haven’t ended.
. It is just beginning.
Mr.titus: looking very surprise) what did you mean by that? Dandy: he is going to seek for revenge if we do not do some thing.
Mr. Titus: you are right. You are hundred present right.
Dandy: he might even arrest us.
Mr. Titus: i? arrested? Never!
Dandy: that’s why we need to do some thing to stop him and also collect money from him.
Mr. Titus: so what do we do?
Dandy: i have an idea.
Mr. Titus: go on.
Then dandy walked near to him and whispered into his ears.
– Mr. Titus: what!!! (He exclaimed after the silent whisper.)
Dandy: think about it sir. We can collect money from them double of our budget. . . What the hell did he whispered into his ears,? what exactly are they planning to do? God save my man ooooh.
